Straightforward Maintenance on Our Natural Gas and Propane Generators
Routine service on our natural gas and propane generators is straightforward and advantageous for those who currently operate traditional diesel generators. Service intervals on gaseous engines are less routine than that of diesel engines because the fuels, such as natural gas and liquid propane, produce less carbon when combusted. This extends the useful life of the engine’s lubricating oil.
Outside of the initial 500-hour break-in period, subsequent routine services on our generators are required every 750 to 1,750 hours (depending on the model and engine oil used). That is every ~31 to ~73 days. When compared to many traditional generators that require service every 10 to 12 days, operating cost reductions can be significant. This benefit is further compounded with the reduced fuel costs that natural gas and liquid propane offer, as well as the improved emissions profile from combusting these gases.
Remote Power Corp has natural gas and propane generators deployed on sites across Canada, as well as a Service Team to support projects in geographically remote regions. Remote Power Corp also provides technician service training, technical support, and 24/7/365 remote monitoring on all deployed power systems.
